Gruene Coffee Haus is a family-owned and operated little coffee shop in Historic Gruene, TX.
Our family has always loved laughing, catching up, and sharing a good cup of coffee. So when we had the opportunity to open our doors in 2007, we jumped at it! We like to say we serve an awesome God, amazing people, and a great cup of coffee.
We roast our favorite beans right here at the Haus and only roast what we need, keeping our coffee fresh and full of flavor. You might even catch us roasting while you’re here - stick around, watch the process, and enjoy the smell. It’s part of the experience!
Most importantly, we love our people. Our team isn’t just a team, they’re family. We’re proud of our baristas, the coffee they create, and the amazing humans they are. Whether you have a question, need a recommendation, or just want to hang out and chat, we’re always happy to see you.

We serve a full espresso menu, gourmet drip coffee, 24-hour cold brew, frappes, smoothies, Italian sodas, and plenty of tasty treats from local favorites like Sugarita, Wildflour Artisan Bakery, and NB Tortilleria. And yes - even your four-legged friends can get a treat!
We also serve craft beer and mimosas that you can enjoy to-go while you explore Gruene. Morning coffee, afternoon pick-me-up, or an evening drink - we’ve got you covered.

Freshly Roasted & Made for You
We roast beans from a variety of origins and sell them by the pound. We also love partnering with other businesses through our wholesale program. Whether you’re opening a coffee shop or looking to upgrade your current coffee, we’d love to roast for you! We offer freshly roasted coffee and custom labeling to help make it your own.
Not in New Braunfels? No problem! You can order our freshly roasted beans right here on our website and have a little piece of the Haus shipped straight to you.
Bringing Your Pup?
We’re dog-friendly! Your four-legged friends are welcome in our outdoor seating area, and we have fresh water waiting for them. Just let one of our gals know if your pup needs a treat!
Unfortunately, due to regulations, dogs can’t hang out inside the coffee shop. We know- it’s a bummer for us, too!
Just remember to keep your pup on a leash, and we’ll see you both outside.
